Farmed for their sticky honeydew secretions, aphids are protected by ants.
Aphidius mummy. These mini wasps will lay an egg individually into an aphid. As the larva grows inside,  the aphids exoskeleton turns into a brown paper bag shell called a mummy.
It's a sign of spring when aphids have wings.
Cabbage Looper Egg. Very round watch for these on all brassicas. The caterpillar will hatch out and loops as it crawls. Adult is a night flying brown moth.
Click beetle. The adult of the nasty wire worm.
Spiders are friends.
The momma ladybug knows to lay its eggs where there is lots of food.
Green Shield Bug.
Orchard Mason Bee, Blue Bee, Osmia. An early spring pollinator with facinating architectural habits.
